Profile Protection & Resolution Center is registered as a Credit Services Organization under the California Credit Services Act of 1984 (Civil Code §§ 1789.10–1789.26). Our California registration number and surety bond information are provided in your written contract and are on file with the California Department of Financial Protection & Innovation (DFPI).

Your rights under California law. Before signing a contract with a credit services organization, you have the right to: (a) receive a detailed statement of the services to be performed; (b) receive a copy of the contract; (c) cancel the contract without charge or penalty within three business days of signing by notifying us in writing; and (d) sue a credit services organization that violates the California Credit Services Act.

Prohibited practices. Under California law, a credit services organization may not: (i) charge or receive money before fully performing its services; (ii) make or counsel you to make any untrue or misleading statements to a consumer reporting agency; (iii) make any false or misleading representations; or (iv) engage or assist in any act, practice, or course of business that operates as a fraud upon any person.
